PUSH TO TALK
SoundCall is a push‑to‑talk system, operators control the direction of speech, allowing operators to speak to the occupants even in noisy situations. Operators can discuss how to respond to an incident without being heard by the occupant.
If the occupant does not want to be overheard or called, they may select Privacy mode using the buttons on the front of the unit. Privacy mode is indicated by the Privacy status LED.
SOUND LEVEL MONITORING IS NOT AFFECTED BY PRIVACY MODE, IF THE SOUND LEVEL IN THE ROOM EXCEEDS THE TRIGGER LEVEL THE UNIT WILL STILL INITIATE AN ALERT ENABLING THE OPERATOR TO HEAR SOUNDS IN THE ROOM
