Our vandal resistant disabled toilet alarm range offers tough, cost‑effective, BS 8300:2009 compliant systems suitable for public use. We supply stand‑alone toilet alarms, multiple toilet systems with remote monitoring and combined systems with disabled refuge EVC, fire telephone, building alarms, etc. Interfaces for BMS and transmission over IP are also available. Ideal for shops, offices, hotels, factories and similar locations.
One or more LCD panels can be installed in central monitoring station(s) or control room(s) to attract the attention of system operators in the event of alarm activation. Panels can be used 'stand-alone' to monitor up to 8 alarms, or combined with controllers to monitor up to 64 alarms.
Panels can be daisy-chained to provide alarm indication at multiple locations. Panels have an alarm output for use with additional equipment e.g. beacons, sounders or monitoring systems.
LCD Acknowledge indicator panels comprise a stainless steel faceplate fitted with a 16-character LCD display, an integral sounder, and mute button. The faceplate is annotated in black with the word ACKNOWLEDGE. Alternative annotation is available on request. Panels are supplied with flush or surface mount steel back boxes, please specify when ordering.
ACKNOWLEDGE: The acknowledge function allows local or remote devices to 'accept' and temporarily mute alarms, giving reassurance that help is on its way and making verbal communication easier. If the alarm has not been reset within two minutes the alarm is reactivated.
RESET: Remote indicator panels cannot be used to reset alarms. Disabled toilet alarms can only be reset at the toilet 'reset unit' to ensure staff attendance in the event of an alarm activation.
