What is a Prestige System

Prestige is a combined Warden Call/Nurse Call, alarm, and door entry system for use in nursing homes, sheltered housing and other similar establishments.

Warden Call Alarm

Prestige Warden Call enables residents to contact a Warden in emergency via pull switches, radio pendants and other triggers. On alarm the warden receives a text message indicating the source of the alarm and  information about the resident. The warden can also use the system to talk to the resident.

Nurse Call Alarm

Prestige Nurse Call enables patients to summon medical asistance. On alarm the "Nurse" attends to the patient's needs and cancels the alarm using the patient's "alarm panel".

Other Alarms

Prestige can be interfaced with other alarm sensors such as activity, smoke, fire exit open. Extrnal alarms are sent to the systems Hand Unit.

Remote Moitoring

Prestige can be fitted with a telephone dialer so that any alarm or front door calls can be routed over a PSTN to a remote call centre or another Warden Call system.  Remote monitoring can be configured to be active continously or at selected times.  

Door Entry System

A door entry panel can be fitted that allows visitors to talk to the Walden or a resident, and enables the Warden or the resident open the door remotely.

A Typical System Comprises:

• Speech Units - installed in each ressidential/patient unit and at other strategic locations
• Door Entry Units - installed at the entrances to the establishment
• Hand Unit - issued to the Warden/Nurse.
• Other optional equipment such as as alarm pendants reciever,  PSTN dialers.
